I thought this was out a few weeks ago.

I am bullish on a couple of positions where some of the media types are not. I think the two deep at DT is going to be good and Brick Haley being the coach is why. When he took the job the real question was could he coach a room with only a couple of elite recruits in it. His interior rotation has produced 22.5 TFLS in 2017 and 26.5 in 2018. Kul's best DT group had a high of 28.5 in 2014.
From 09-15 Kul's DT rotation had 9.5 TFLs in 2009, 8 in 2010, 18.5 in 2011, 17 in 2012, 18.5 in 2013, and 23.5 in 2015. At worst the interior play has been as disruptive as Kul's best units and I think they are more sound vs the run.
Even though the number of down field shots is going to be diminished, there's plenty of big play potential at WR. Per reception in 2017, Nance was comparable to J'Mon Moore. He had a better catch rate than Moore who certainly wasn't a player teams wanted running loose in their secondary. Johnathan Johnson is primed for a big final season. Albert is going to catch a lot of passes but WRs as a whole should benefit from the attention he is going to demand.

I guess my areas of concern would be the replacements on the Oline, if DE can take a leap forward, replacements at LB, and depth in the secondary. Generally, I think the offense is going to be good. But, the combination of Borom, White, and Cook need to keep the line solid to have success.
On defense, the ends just didn't do enough. Hopefully Jeffcoat and Martin can step up this year. Garret gave high praise of Bolton at media days. But, there is a lack of experience for the two new starters.
I agree that DT should be in good shape, and I'm not really worried about WR. Between Johnson, Albert O, Knox, Scott, Nance, Gincinto, Bannister etc. there's plenty to work with. Knox and Scott should take a step forward this year after getting some experience as freshman. I'm curios if Khamari Thompson breaks into the rotation.
I also wonder if Simi Bakare gets more touches at RB. I think he has some potential.

Davis and Hargreaves are two other coaches I trust to put sound groups on the field. It seems like every player that started for VH at Miami got drafted. He coached Brooks Ellis and De'Jon Harris into good players as well.
I'm excited about year two of the oline under Davis. I expect them to rush for 3000 yds as team this year.

Why the quarterback transfer is the key! He can make up for some bad offensive line play with his run, shoot, and/or scramble around to find a receiver open to throw. That is the key plan for Missouri with dual threat quarterback.
