That back 7 returns and is to be improved. That DL was deep last year and they have 1 spot to fill. Simmons. If you think the top defense in the nation is suddenly going to drop a cliff, you are mistaken. All things point to Ms St having a top 15 defense. And that defense has like 6 games to get better before they are even tested.
As to offense, It starts with the OL, and the reports are this will be the best OL they have had. They are comparing it's depth to their DL from last year and it's talent. One is expecting to be possible first round
They return their 2 top RBs and Hill will leave early because he is a beast.
Say what you will about the QB, but you are about to find out what Moorhead can do with a legit passer and what those WRs can do when a QB sees the reads.
