Feaster's decision could be playing into Tank's but we'll see.

Also, how Valentine does this season ... I dunno.

Bottom line IMHO is sometimes the home team, the one you grew up adoring, is just too much of a pull to overcome. I've seen it 100 times. Love is blind.

Just not hearing good vibes on Tank right now. The day is coming though when Brown and BMac score a major coup. If you can sign at least one great back and one good back every year ... that works. But we're almost to the point where signing just one great back a year would get the job done. It's just this particular year when we really need to sign two.

Just curious but why would Feasters decision have anything to do with Tank committing to us? Feaster is one and done for 2019 which is Tank's senior year in hs so they would never compete for playing time.

Valentine will never see the field here unless on special teams.

I was just thinking it might help if Feaster comes in and is successful proving that we can actually be a solid running team. If Feaster can come in and rush for 800-1000 yards this season it might be a useful recruiting tool with Tank. I dunno .... I was just spit balling. You never know what floats these guy's boats.

I'm sorry and you're right. I meant Kevin Harris and I don't know why I keep getting those two mixed up.

I keep hoping for a bigtime combo one two punch of Feaster and Harris even though Harris is going to have to learn to block better and run between the tackles with authority.

I just don't trust Denson or Rico to stay healthy but I am hoping AJ gets a lot of chances this season in his special role.

Hell, I'd be happy if Fenwick comes out of nowhere and shocks the world this season.

Great example and I would have to agree with your thought process.

Well the 13th has come and gone and no commitment from Burch. His total silence and going to the tator cookout has me feeling that we're going to end up feeling like we did with XT recruitment.

Yea, we still lead, but the taters are giddy about getting him to the cookout. Its basically this massive circle jerk where everyone just talks about how awesome clemson is, rings etc. Def dont want him to go there...

Still hearing we are good for him, his camp has gone radio silent though.

In other news, Doty was bumped to the #3 dual threat qb in the ESPN top 300.

And there was some to-do about a tweet of XT's that seemed to suggest something was up. A couple of their fans replied saying they knew what he meant but wouldn't say any more bc of the nature of what he was apparently referring to. From what I gathered it was either bc Burch is blowing them off again or bc Feaster to the Gamecocks is a done deal. Why not both is what I say.

Are you sure we're having one? I don't think so but wish we were.

no one should be reading into his tweets. He purposefully makes them vague to confuse and rile ppl up. He could be talking about recruits, or literally someone eating something he thought was gross for lunch.

In the latest Top247 rankings...

Doty drops from #52 to #67

Lloyd drops from #61 to #82

Kaba drops from #80 to #85

Wyman drops out of the Top247 altogether

Huntley jumps from #164 to #160

---

They're not happy about these new rankings on TBS obviously, and I have to agree with them.

How do Doty and Lloyd have excellent national camp performances where they earn widespread praise and attention, only to see their rankings fall?

Is committing to South Carolina just poisonous to a recruit's ranking?

Heard Burxh dropped from 1 to 2 and some kid Clemson has committed moved to 1.

Anyone know much of anything about the Bailey Jr kid out of Greenbow Tennessee? 6-5 250 DE?

Derrell Bailey JR. is a 6'6 255 SDE out of Greenback, TN. He's a 3* and ranked 59th DE in the class of 2020. Plans on visiting us tomorrow, Auburn on Friday and VT on Saturday before making a decision July 27-August 1st timeline. He's a good prospect and missing on Murphy, might make him more of a priority.

LOL .... thanks jacocks. Wonder where my guy got Greenbow? Is that where Forest Gump was from?

So he told me that kid may get a commitable offer this weekend and, if they do and he does, that probably means Grimes is off the table but, then it gets whacky.

Pretty sure Kreuger will commit this weekend with his Mother present.
