That catch against LSU was sick. The catch from Hurts and the catch for the TD in the SEC-CG was sicker.

In short, yes, he’s easily the most electric player - probably in the whole country. He reminds me of Kenyan Drake or Percy Harvin.
Now we just have to wonder when Saban’s going to promote him to the first team offense. Hopefully soon. He can do things that no other receiver on our roster can

Hard to pick who is better at WR this year between Clemson and Bama. Total depth I would say Clemson (had 2 more 5*s come in that looked scary good in the spring game on top of a loaded roster), but Bama's starting three receivers are tough to beat.
I could see Bama putting up crazy scores this year with Tua and those receivers.

I disagree that Waddle would be our best wide receiver this year. I think he would have been last year but I think Chase is a better route runner and a more well rounded receiver. Obviously this is only prediction because the season hasn’t happened yet, but I think Chase will be great.

This is what being a homer looks like. Waddle would be the best receiver for LSU easily.

We will see. I think Chase will be a first round pick by the time he is done at LSU. Like I said, if we put Waddle on last year’s team he would be the best easily. It’s possible that would be the case this year. I also wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if Chase outperforms Waddle by a significant margin this year. I don’t know if I’m the one that should be considered a homer for saying both players are good or if you should be for not knowing jack about Chase.

It isn't dumb to examine outliers. In fact, this is an essential part of analytics because it helps you cut through noise to get to underlying statistical tendencies. The fact is that Jalen Waddle did not perform consistently in 2018. He hit a few big plays (and only one against a decent defense).
Sorry that this fact upsets you Bama fans. There is a reason he comes off the bench, y'all.
