Georgia has 2 national championships

Did I mention bullshite?
Georgia Bulldogs also have a tenuous 1942 claim, as nine ranking authorities listed in the NCAA record books rank the Bulldogs as #1. These are limited to very minor polls and services that retroactively released rankings many years later. Georgia did not officially claim 1942 as a championship year until well after their 1980 National Championship season.

This isn't an aspirational question. I don't understand why Florida fans say Georgia when they will almost certainly lose again, and they'll go on like nothing happened shortly afterwards.

A loss in a must win means a failed season. Heads will roll and/or fan bases will be upset for more than an hour or two after the clock hits zero.

UGA is not a must win for the Gators. It's a hope to win.

. . . and there's not much hope if we're being serious.

If you were told you could only win one of the Florida or A&M games, which would it be? The other would be a loss.

A&M only because it's a division game. In theory, we could still win out and go to Atlanta without needing help.

What a crock of shite. No one knows how the season will play out. UGA is one bad play from losing 2 or 3 games. For instance if your qb goes down. The Florida vs Georgia game is over 3 months away. 1980.

Nine? I didn't know it was that many. Sounds pretty solid. AP listed Ohio State as national champion. The problem is, AP named their champs before bowl season. Ohio St didn't play in a bowl. Georgia won the Rose Bowl.

You conveniently left out the important part.

All of them. No reason we shouldn’t win every regular season game.

West Virginia. Dang it was embarrassing losing to Okie State last season. Don't want to lose to another Big 12 teams because this board will chant "Back to the Big 12" all season...

Of course, most will do that even if we win, so...

And you copied and pasted from Wikipedia, which, as we know, is the place where everyone should go for accurate information about college football.

We just need to beat a ranked team, I don't care who. Muschamp has only beat 1 and that was an overrated Butch Jones team.

Outside of that, it's Kentucky. I still can't believe they've beaten us 5 straight times so that streak needs to end
