Do you think we have the talent this year? In B-ball?

The only player we really lose from last year's team is Mekowulu. Gilder transferred, but he didn't play last season.

Starks and Flagg are both returning and we return pretty much everyone else.

Plus the difference in coaching between Kennedy and Wililams is monumental.

Anyone know probability of landing that blackshear grad transfer out of va tech?

If we were able to land him AND held onto a healthy gilder next season could’ve been dangerous. I still expect massive improvement either way

Supposedly he's down to Kentucky, Tennessee and possibly A&M, although he's not even set to visit us as of this moment

I'd say Kentucky is the favorite, Tennessee 2nd and us a longshot 3rd.

I think we’ll be a better football team with the same record due to SOS. If we find a way to win 1 of Bama, Clemson, Georgia or LSU and go 10-3 we’ll be top-5 heading into 2020. That’s the year to look ahead to as we could, theoretically, return 20/22 starters (obviously a couple will leave early).

Basketball should be MUCH better though we’ll probably be only a fringe tournament team.

Baseball, meh until Childress is gone. He is what he is at this point.

Don’t care about dykeball and muffpitch

Football - Hold. Results should be similar to 2018. Schedule just too brutal. Roster is not quite there.

Basketball - Buy. We will be much improvement and could even be a tourney team is we can land a few transfers.

Baseball - Hold. We should be good again. We’ll be back in the tourney. Let’s see what a new hitting coach does.

Football is going to be a lot better than basketball this year

Probably. But this is basically buying and selling stock, right?

Currently basketball is about as low as it goes. Unless you think we’re going to stay terrible then it’s a buy.

Football is already good and should stay good. I just don’t think we’re quite ready to knock off 2-3 top 5 teams this year. I also don’t think we’ll suck and go 6-6. But i think 2020 & 2021 will be big years. That’s why it’s a hold for me.

Baseball is a hold as well, but more because I think of a high floor. Not because I’m willing to bet we’re going take that next step. But because I don’t think we’ll get worse.
