#4 Nationally.

LINK

Unlike most bullshite "best schools" lists, this one actually publishes their methodology for their conclusions.

Interesting list, still would rather send my kid to Vandy in the SEC but that list makes a good point

Meh, if they’re looking for law school, definitely.

Anything else, I’d say any advantage Vandy has is marginal to nothing.

Vandy also has more costly tuition than UGA, there’s a lot to consider

Vandy is a bunch of rich Texas kids. Only reason it was not named in the recent admissions scandal is Vandy finds away to get rich kids in.

There's also an immense Vanderbilt network to consider.

I'm sure this will be considered blasphemy but my company has been hiring Bama grads and I'm really impressed with their co-op programs in their MIS/IT programs. We even had an entire project farmed to a group of Bama students. At least from I have seen Alabama does a lot better job in their business school of getting their students involved in co-op and internships. They seem more in tune with investing in their students future. Terry College seems more concerned with fund-raising.

don't get me wrong here, i am not blaming anyone for my laziness but there was no push whatsoever to get us involved in a co-op or internship when i was at uga.

again, most people who weren't idiots did the legwork on their own and got it all figured out, but from what i have seen other schools do a lot better job at forcing/requiring/providing students with those opportunities.

There was at Grady. All my professors started talking up internship opportunities on day one. I did one with a major network and I'd bet at least half of the journalism students completed an internship at some point.

Not me. There was a bulletin board in j-school building. No big push and very few opportunities. This was really before everything was online.
