Had a whiffle ball arm but he was smart with the ball and had good pocket presence.

A lot of Jarrett's problems were Jarrett-engineered too.

I've sat and watched games when guys are running wide open. Jarrett either scrambled the other way or made the wrong read. He had happy feet or he held the ball too long, there was never that correct balance of having that great timing.

We blamed Jarrett all season until the Patriots drafted him. Since then it’s been all on Gus

I think the blame is somewhere in the middle.
If you read between the lines of what Stidham has said this off season I think he blames Lindsey

Some of that is true but you can tell he is piling on. He was made to look like an absolute fool during the Cam fallout, some of which he has never recovered from credibility-wise and he hates Auburn even worse than his normal 'bammer hate' that is innate. He is a bitter old bastard who saw an open shot so he took it.

Odds of DS taking a other swipe at Gus 2:1
Odds of Gus returning the favor - hardly any at all*

*and that's better than ok
(eta: IE: he won't go personal)

Take a little truth and sprinkle in a few lies (Marshall). Bama media including Finebaum push a specific agenda to always slant their coverage for Bama and against Auburn. That has made them a lot of money.

Lot of truth in that article

but this...

"What about Nick Marshall? He probably regressed.

...is patently false and absolutely ridiculous.

They coulda left Marshall out of this.

I mean he was a DB at Georgia that progressed from Washington State NM to 2014 Iron Bowl NM.

Does Sheridan remember Nick Marshall in the 2014 IB?

27-43 456yds 3 tds 1 int QBR 170.2
and 49 yds rushing for NM

Probably the greatest QB performance in Iron Bowl history

Man, that damn game still chaps my arse. We left so many damn points on the field in that first half. Had we scored TDs rather than FGs on those early drives, we would have been the first team to boat race Bama during their reign, not Clemson.

Had the wheels not come off after that MSU loss and we beat Bama for the 2nd year in a row, Gus and AU could have been what Clemson is now. With that said, you’re right about NM’s performance in that game, it was unreal.

Well one of the FGs was because we ran out of time in the first half. I do wish we could’ve scored 7 then though.

Did he ever find the Bagman... said he knew who it was and would reveal it... told lie, after lie, after lie.

--In the summer of 2011, oddsmaker Danny Sheridan said on the Paul Finebaum show that the NCAA had found the “bagman” that provided money for Newton and that he got the name from a source inside the NCAA. In an extraordinary response, the NCAA issued a press release saying "Danny Sheridan continues to make vague, unsubstantiated claims without backing them up with proof. Contrary to his claims of having an inside source with details on the Auburn investigation, the NCAA has not provided information to Sheridan or anyone else.”
