Terrible news. Living in Tornado Alley means you know that every storm that hit somewhere else could have had your number on it. My condolences for the families that lost people and everyone who had their lives turned upside down.

The homes along Capitol Ave in Jefferson City were hammered. It also destroyed a large area on the south end of town. No known fatalities as of now.

We have thunderstorms in the forecast for 13 out of the next 15 days here in Kansas City. Hopefully that's all we get and no tornadoes like Jeff City.

Catastrophic and traumatic situations often need talking through. Sometimes people in anxiety ridden positions need someone that will just listen with compassion. If you need a friend, I'm here. My contact info is pretty easy to access.

( navynuke my reply was not directed towards you, but those who suffered losses . )
