Dillard comes up and gloves the ball in shallow field and the runner from second is just roundng third and .... WTF no throw to the plate? I could have gunned that runner down easy! It was an easy soft throw to short to boot. That tells me we tanked the season. Or are we being coached to always hit the cut off? if that's the case remove the coaches as that was an easy play. Most of us have made a lot of those throws just playing sandlot ball. It also always felt great.
