The Florida staff did not immediately move Steele, and didn't plan to move him until the summer, and when Steele's name was associated with the police reports from Jones' accusation, it exacerbated the concerns Steele had, according to a source.
Goddamn, if true, that has to be very worrisome for UF fans. That's fricking insane.

Dan is used to a cooperative police force and a whipped media who doesn’t question him from his time in Starkville. 5 stars have options though.

The issue is Steele pretty much telling the UF staff months prior to it happening that his roomy is insane and he wants to be moved. The kid literally foreshadowed bad things and gave warning, nothing was done, roomy rapes, kids name is included in police reports.
I'd leave as well and Sue the frick out of the athletic department.

It is worth noting that we have only heard Steele’s side of this story as "Florida is unable to comment on his situation due to student privacy laws". It had previously been reported that Steele was homesick shortly after enrolling at UF for being far away from his native Southern California. That said, Mullen did reportedly apologize, and he would not have apologized for nothing.

If this is even partially true,this kid should be able to transfer and play immediately.
