Barnes has done a tremendous job at changing his image among the fanbase. If we don't make an elite 8 in the next two seasons people are going to be PISSED.

Meh. Mountain/molehill situation. If Barnes had wanted to leave he would've left. Had we not countered while the buyout was hung up he might well have left but we did and he stayed. Barnes also said he believed God wanted him here and so he's here.
Barnes is simply lacking in eloquence. UCLA is blueblood program and he'd have been crazy not to entertain the offer. However, he's not the first or last coach to lack the ability to put things more eloquently. Keep giving me seasons like this past one and I'm happy.
