My theory on CFB Coaches.
If no other CFB program is trying to steal them they really are not that good. If they are being sought by a NFL program or leave for a NFL program that's even better.
Tim Brewster left to be close to his immediate family members in the sunset of his career. Ever been to Chapel Hill? Nice place to kick back.
Jim Turner is a technician's technician at OL. That being said you get to pick them in the NFL vs. wooing them to go to your CFB program. Add in the family factor + the pay grade increase and it was a no brainer for him.
Mike Elko would be a dumbass to bail on Jimbo right now. He's learning to be a HC from one of the best at any level & he's young. I see Kirby Smart potential. That being said he's been a rabbit his entire career.
Jimbo hung onto the wrong coaches for a lot of reasons too long at FSU. This will be interesting to see how it plays out.

A lot of that had to do with FSU not stepping up to the plate and offering good salaries to assistant coaches.
