San Antonio got first dibs on him since he's zoned to them but San Antonio didn't want him so then it goes to the worst team in the league (Memphis) and they get to decide whether they want him or not. Then it goes to the next worst team and so on.

I like that system actually. Makes sense instead of just going to the highest bidder and the richer getting richer, if that even exists in that league.

Agreed I like it too.

Man I hate Manziel though and wish Memphis hadn’t signed him. Maybe we’ll start getting better coke in Memphis though so that would be a plus.

That’s be quite the positive development

Honestly, I love the signing. Might actually finally go to a game this weekend. Wish they’d bring in Swag too. I’d watch that reality show

Plus the team has just been bullshite to watch offensively for most of the season, especially the Hackenberg games, and JFF is ostensibly an electrifying player when he’s on. I fricking hate him for ripping our hearts out twice, but he’s a very welcome addition to the Express imo

His numbers in Canada were garbage. I feel like he’s lost his game and will never get it back.

Dude I literally watched Christian Hackenberg play football on live tv in 2019. I definitely think it’s worth the roll of the dice to see if he still has anything in the tank. He’s only 26 after all. Plus the CFL is wonky as frick, having watched a few Masoli games. If it doesn’t work out, he’ll just get cut. It’s a harmless move that could end up being the jolt the franchise has needed.

On the other hand Singletary is a big dumb idiot of a coach so it probably won’t matter

He probably thinks that they are playing well at 1-5. What a shitty coach.

AAF needs that next step in viewership and attendance. This could be a HUGE boost for the league if he comes in and looks at least half-way decent.
