Inspired by Wes225 - the time I protested to have Gottfried fired

I found these on PhotoBucket a few months back and Wes225's heroic protest inspired me to dig them back up.

This was 2009. Gottfried Sucks on TideSports was leading the charge to have him fired and I joined his cause. I even made a sign to take to the games with me:




I took it to several games. To my surprise, fans loved it and no one told me to support the coach and shut up. Then we lost by ten to Kentucky. The arena had emptied because it was a double digit loss and it this point the fans were sick of the situation. That was perfect though, it allowed me to get right up behind media row.




I waited around for the post game show, with the poster. Looking back it was me and a bunch of kids waiting on Gottfried

Then it was Gottfried's turn:












Gottfried was fired two days after signing this poster. Gottfried Sucks contacted Finebaum and they put the picture on the front page of their site for a day or two claiming Gottfried had signed a poster demanding that he be fired. Our mission was accomplished.


For a small fee I'll drive to Nashville on Thursday with a poster.
