As much as it pains me to say, he will be here next year. See basketball attendance chart below, starting at the opening of BWA:

Bielema’s buyout and Nolan Court naming are the only reasons he stays.

What if we’re naming the court in order to appease the Nolan faithful while also getting rid of Mike? Just my thoughts, heard others mention this as well

If you fire Mike, then name the court: Nolan will speak to the crowd and tear the university a new one, or just as bad, he will not show up at the court naming ceremony. Nolan gives no fricks about the court being named after him.

Nolan appears to be a stubborn old man. Loyalty to a fault when it comes to Mike. He has to be able to see Mike isn't getting it done.

I get that logic completely, just think they’d be better served doing that this year. A huge flop in recruiting this year (which is very likely) coupled with this ending to the season, I wouldn’t expect there to be much support at games next year either. Just think there’s no ideal scenario here. Should’ve named the court after him awhile back

They should’ve had the naming lined up for the 25th NC anniversary celebration few weeks ago and fired him today but of course this is Arkansas without direction and leadership.

I think Yurachek is just in over his head. Public support for leaving Little Rock was at an all-time high and then he makes that terrible Mizzou deal. Bungled the Nolan court naming and pretends like the board of trustees and state legislature have to get involved. Now he'll probably pussyfoot around with Mike instead of making the tough decision.

I assume that's tickets sold, not average attendance.
Very seldom are there more than 7000 actually in the building.
