Have to say it, may get flamed for it, but today against Cincinnati was almost unwatchable other than my vested interest in the team itself. And really, the other games have been the same. Sure the results have sucked, too, but I’m talking about style of play and general persona of the play I see in-game.

I believe this style of play is what drives the casual fan away from soccer, and opposite of what the 5 Stripes were and what made them so popular. It’s a dangerous road to continue down, especially with all of the early success that the team has had in the first two years.

Again, I’m not a die hard soccer guy, but Atlanta United made me a fan of soccer because it was exciting and pushed the envelope of every other match I’d seen.

It may be too early to be so pessimistic, but as that casual soccer fan made by the brand & this city, I’m not optimistic of what I’ve seen.

Like I said, it’s my opinion, but I feel like it is echoed and wanted to see. What say you?

The crowd absolutely sucked other than the first and last 5 minutes. This playstyle just ain’t doing it, this is probably how B12 fans feel watching SEC games.

DeBoering. Hopefully once were knocked out Wednesday from CONCACAF we can rest up a bit and get back on track. Not enjoying it right now

It's shocking how different this team looks just three months after winning the MLS Cup. And the fanbase (and the players themselves) are already on tilt and if this doesn't get corrected fast things could get ugly. Would be a shame to so quickly lose the momentum that the first two seasons has built.

My hope is that after Monterrey finishes them off in CONCACAF Wednesday they can squeak out a win Sunday at home against Philly and then they get two weeks before next game and then another two weeks before the game after that. Hopefully they use that time to get some things corrected because its been full on recovery and game prep to start the season and they obviously need training time to get it together.

I'll take it a step further. I love going to United games, but this thing always had a short shelf life in terms of popularity. It's the shiny new toy on the aisle getting all the attention from the younger crowd, but the younger crowd has a short attention span. Blank put an immediate winner on the field with an exciting style of play. Now that they've been around for a couple of years and the winning is likely to decrease, you'll watch the fan support massively fall off.

Apathetic Atlanta fans will have that place cleared out soon enough.

Really confused about the lack of playing time for Villalba.

Honestly...I think Tito is just a fan favorite. He's good, but the guys that play in the positions he does are better. As much as I'd love to see him get more play time, I'm just not sure who you'd take off as a starter for him. He's a great super sub, and I think has realized that and embraced it...at least I hope so. He's great in that role because when he comes in he works hard af and makes it so much harder for the opposing defense to keep up.

Isn’t Villalba a designated player? If so, you would think he’s good enough to start.
