I’m surprised that they’re giving him a 4 year deal. He’s pretty much only effective as a short yardage/goal-line back at this point.

The Saints guaranteed money on the deal was almost surely much lower. That's a huge difference.

It’s always interested me how Baltimore/DC area and the University of Alabama have so many connections.
It’s a prime spot for talent and we’ve gotten many players from that area. Since no one wants to go to Maryland it seems like Alabama is the substitute home team.
On the other side the Ravens/Redskins seem to rack up on Bama players consistently.
