What I've heard from spring practice.
Dontario Drummond seems to be a better player than we thought.
Kinkead Dent seems to be a really good passer but Grant Tisdale will get the back up job just because of how athletic he is. I think before its all said and done Dent will have one or two really good years.
Charles Wiley looks good transitioning from DE to OLB and Robinson has lost weight thank god.
Very exited about Rodriguez! Matt Corral said last year Longo didn't even have them them reading defenses last year. What a joke.

I think everybody is in agreement that our offense last year should have been far more production. Against everybody. Including Alabama. What a wasted arse opportunity. Thank God we have a different OC.

We were one of the best teams in the country in yards per play (no. 10 nationally). We just couldn't score.

I mean look at the combine... we had that many draft worthy picks on the same side of the ball and still couldn’t finish

We had a good QB, a good RB, a good OL and elite receivers even after DK went down. There’s just no excuse for what we did outside of coaching.

I’m also hearing a young Corral is coming around as a major team leader. Even in only his second year. Said he’s demanding the locker room and being compared to C. Kelly taking control on field. Not saying he’s as good as him just showing signs.
If you take a glance at our roster we should compete. But coaching goes a long ways. If nothing changes this year we could see a bunch in the transfer portal. I hope the assistants can do their job without being looked at over there shoulder. I honestly don’t think Matt would dare want to get on RR bad side. He definitely would be barking up the wrong tree. Anyways this is only info coming from a few asst trainers. TIFWIW

Funny that Mcgriff was fired when he had zero talent. I would have fired Longo mid-season. We all knew McGriff had nothing to work with, but Phil had so much talent.

McGriff had more to work with than you think. Just no coaching going on except at linebacker. Zed woods 4.29 40 today says he had more than Zed showed on the field. That is obviously bad coaching or better yet, guessing! McGriff should have been fired after the no name team all but had us tied at halftime! I would have advanced Sumrall right then.

Frick em both man. We had the worst coaching staff in the history of the P5 last year. Freeze is an idiot for hiring them.
