Boys, we may have movement. Chad Withrow just tweeted this out:

I’m hearing rumblings that Holly Warlick’s time as Tennessee’s Head Coach will be coming to an end before the end of the season. Stay tuned.

So this thread may turn into a coaching search thread? I'm down. Who are viable options?

That's a great question.

The LV reach is so large that we may wind up overwhelmed with options. A good problem to have in the grand scheme of things but still a bit of a problem.

As an aside, Holly has done enough as both a player and an assistant that I'd like to see her continue in some administrative role. She just never had what it took to be HC. That could ease any transition and allow her to save face.

Agreed. She just doesn't have the killer instinct. Or the glare.

I’ll be shocked if we fire her before the end of the season but I’ve been shocked before

I hate seeing the legacy that Pat worked so hard to build crash and burn because of bad coaching. All of these 5*s... SMH

Meanwhile, Rick Barnes coached 3*s to #1

Holly Warlick needs to be fired but she will stay as Tennessee women's basketball head coach for at least the next few years. The Tennessee athletic department is in the red and can't afford another coaching change at least for the next few years.

I do not care about the women’s basketball program at all. I hope Holly gets a lifetime contract.

Let the Lady Vols and their baby blue fudge packing tears suffer. As far as I’m concerned, I cheer for the Vols. They’ve made it very clear they want to be their own separate entity, yet want to share the spoils of the school’s AD revenue, so frick them.
