I have a Benelli SBE and its knockoff Turkish cousin, a Stoeger. They have both been great.
Every Beretta I have shot has been great. I have let a couple older autos slip away from me that I should have bought, and still look out for the occasional deal on a O/U, but there really aren't any.

I don't think I actually have any foreign fire arms, guess I should give one a shot at some point. I don't have a shotgun yet

I think most of my guns are foreign. Or at least half.
Look at Beretta 300 Outlander if you want a shotgun. You can get a good deal on one at Academy occasionally.
