Crowd was decent for a Tuesday night against a bad team. Student section was pitiful though.

This team is just so bad offensively, especially without Tilmon and Smith. Watson and Pickett has good games. Nikko filled in admirably. Mitchell Smith is an awful basketball player. Makes you nervous every time he touches the ball. Santos has been a waste of space. Puryear...goodness.

Their guards penetrated at will. They have a dude who looked to be about 5’4”

Going again vs Kentucky...yikes. Tilmon should be back, hopefully Smith is also back.

Surprised at how bad Smith has been. Surprised at how bad everyone has been really.

This is just so Mizzou. We move to a new conference where we should be in the top 4 programs every year, and proceed to shite the bed starting with KA.

Our 3 worst players all play the 4 position. Take Tilmon and smith away and we have 3 freshmen gaurds + Geist + Nikko.
Nikko is a better player than Puryear, Smith, and Santos. Let that sink in.

It's amazing how much you'll struggle when an NBA pick, one of the nation's best three-point shooters and your go-to post player aren't in the lineup.

KA was a seasoned coach. Anyone have any insight as to how he missed so badly in recruiting? Mizzou was a big enough brand to at least get athletic talent or am I wrong?

The elite players didn't buy what he was selling at all. He can coach the game, he is terrible in the living room. If you look back at his career when he wasn't coaching with Norm he never got it done at the P5 level. he went to Baylor to be the lead assistant and after a successful initial year with the previous staff's players their efforts petered out.

The cupboards were bare when he showed up and no recruiting was done by FH AND it wasn't like we had a lot of time to fill the position after Frank left to avoid NCAA prosecution.

KA 1st year 14-15

Jonathan Williams III
Namon Wright
Gill-Caesar
D’Angelo Allen
Jakeenan Gant
Wes Clark
Tramaine Isabell

Cupboards not bare when he arrived. After his 1st year most of the players left or was kicked off.

He lacked people skills
