IMO...when Kirby was first hired, he had to rush and find a staff to keep the recruiting class in tact (mainly Eason). I think CKS is being a lot more thorough and methodical this time to make sure he finds someone he can trust and will be able to keep this machine moving forward. No need to rush this hire because this recruiting class is almost complete.

Perhaps the guy that CKS has in mind is still in the NFL playoff picture and they can't talk to him until after the SB.
