I could see him getting an offer and balking due to the year UK had. But there is only one guy reporting an offer was made, he’s from the Kentucky media side and the timing from the report to the Gran tweet makes it seem implausible that an offer was made.
Nobody jumped the gun and confirmed the report from the UGA side, UGA media reported the opposite, and a neutral party retracted their initial report that he was offered.
Given the above, the UK media member looking desperate on Twitter in the aftermath and Gran and Smart supposedly having the same agent, Occam’s Razor says that he played UK for a raise.

$1.1 million.
They offered him that and he said no? Frick Georgia, what did you do to have him say no

I highly doubt that happened, but I'm not sure why this changes things for Kentucky.
Gran has been your OC since 2016, I believe. His record against Georgia during that time:
2016 Georgia wins 27-24
2017 Georgia wins 42-14
2018 Georgia wins 34-17
So if he WAS offered (which I doubt), he's an idiot for not taking it. If he did turn Georgia down, though, are you really thrilled about this?

UGA withdrew their offer when they found inconsistencies on his resume . It will be coming out soon.

Yes and no. Hes better than the pos we had before him, but then he's had games with very poor play calling. He's a mixed bag

As opposed to your...never mind that was too far

Kentucky had an outstanding year and Gran was part of it. I'd be happy to keep him as a Kentucky fan, but I'm not sure why I should care as a UGA fan, one way or the other.

I prefer him to having to go try and find a new coordinator, still did some irritating stuff. I imagine Georgia fans have a similar feeling about Chaney. He won alotta games, but there are some games where you ask wtf was he doing, you know?

I was afraid that someone who didn’t understand our rapport might RA and snag me my first ban.

Posters always ruining quality banter

It’s a real shame.
Did you see the quality Duterte banter today? Dude said that the Catholic Church should allow priests to have to have boyfriends because they’re all gay anyhow.
That’s some quality grade A bantz from a fricking President. I want to be offended but I can’t. Just amazing.

Yep. And still he was this close I-I to winning a National title in an overtime loss just last year. So we will always find something wrong with our OC. I didn't care whether Chaney stayed or went, and I'm more than fine with Coley as our OC. I would have been fine with Gran as well, if he was Kirby's choice.
Ultimately it seems to come down to talent. Is Saban that brilliant of a coach or is he brilliant because he's recruited six #1 recruiting classes in a row? I'm guessing it's the recruiting although it certainly helps to have competent coaches. So we'll see. And onward we go.

I hadn't seen that, I did see he's pulling out of the migrant pact

OCs, you have to have them, but they always find somewhere to let you down
I wish you luck in your quest to take over the SEC, except against us of course
