There were rumors late he was down to Auburn & Clemson but not sure how true those really were
I think he was headed to Clemson for awhile at the end of that recruitment. He was sold on Lawrence which proved smart

Many got giddy NSD morning after we learned he wasn’t going to Bama. I guess we thought were the main threat to Bama.
