I’m surprised how hard they went after Luke and the Ole Miss administration. It was actually refreshing to hear them call for firings and understand how the fan base feels.

Matt Luke, Ross Bjork and the entire staff hung their souls on this recruiting class. Matt Luke was sold to the fans by being able to hold this class together. It was the ONLY justification most of us could even stomach to keep Luke.
This is all they had to point to. Now there’s nothing left. At this point what can 247, rivals, and anyone else sell to us as a reason to keep them? We know he can’t coach.. and now we’ve confirmed they can’t recruit. What else is there to sell us on?

Hopefully Rivals/Spirit both understand that if they kid glove this staff at all just to keep access to them, there won’t be any subscribers left. Fans wants hard questions asked. These coaches and admins make more money than 99% of the people who buy tickets to their games and donate money to pay their salaries, and they all suck at their jobs. Ask hard questions.

It's nice seeing people finally get sense slapped into them after they preached "give him a chance" the last 18 months.

I’d say I gave him a chance. Two seasons, two recruiting classes and two opportunities to hire a decent staff.
He may put together a decent staff but the rest he failed miserably. Will forever blow my mind how bad we were in the redzone.
And it’s very conflicting, I want very badly for Luke to ride off into the sunset but I can’t root against our team.

I will tonight on the way home.. I’m sure chase will stay on the fence and Neal will be the one who gets after it .
My criticism of the show is often they don’t take sides and chase tries to stay above the fray and doesn’t really give a hard opinion .
