He is a big kid for sure but I honestly don't know much about him. I think he was a 3 star but that doesn't mean he can't play. Anybody know how fast he is? What is there to know about him? He is obviously very good to start on a Bama defense.

He was a 4* weakside DE out of Dadeville HS. Ranked #172 overall in 247 Composite.

He was the #172 player overall in the Composite 247 back in the Class of 2015. 247Sports had him ranked as the #118 player overall.

Ok thanks guys. Maybe it was scout that rated him 3 stars. Appreciate it.

Like most first time starters at JACK, seems the more physical runstopping style comes well before they spread their passrushing wings.

Upshaw and Anderson looked like just jumbo runstopping LBs initially, then it clicked their Jr/Sr years. Xzavier Dickson bloomed late after they were trying to move him to DL to get other LBs playing time.

Hopefully he ends up like those guys. Denzel Devall and Brandon Fanney were good runstoppers, but they never really became much more.

Still searching for a "Jason Taylor" after all of these years.

If we land Adam Anderson he could be that Great White Buffalo.

You think we will ever find a guy like that? I remember one game I saw him play under Sabah he was just walking around picking what part of the line he wanted to blitz through.

Terrell Lewis has the closest physical abilities to Jason Taylor but Taylor was smart as shite too. Hard to find that combo.

Adrian Hubbard was hyped as that type of guy coming in. Super athletic giant who was a late bloomer in high school.

Problem was, he was very lazy and had an attitude that made him go undrafted. One of the few guys Saban did not give a good referral for to NFL teams.

Hubbard also had a big problem gaining weight.

His arms were as skinny as my 11 year olds.

I don't want to get bogged down talking about Hubbard's dumb arse in a Anfernee Jennings thread.

Jennings seems to be a hard worker and a smart player (the antithesis of Hubbard). I think he can move into a Dline position in the future. Wouldn't be a surprise if he's starting at DE next season. He is a bit of a cross between Courtney Upshaw and DJ Pettway. He will probably be a very good player by the time he is done in Tuscaloosa.

He is a solid guy who has good playing time under his belt. He is the guy now and I think he is a solid player. He may turn the corner of elite this year is he spreads the wings.
