Chuck Persons to be clear.
We also have another more prominent person connected to our basketball program that goes by Chuck in case you didn't know

Serious question...
Should we consider removing all signs of him from the arena? How's number is tried correct?

Person only did what it takes to compete in Div 1. basketball. I mean, if you think CFB is crooked (it is), take a look at the underground of basketball recruiting. This sort of shite, I bet, goes on every day at every program.
It's time we end this farce of "amateur" college athletics and just pay these people. Make it a semi-pro league -- a farm league to the NBA and NFL. Too much money is at stake for these schools to NOT cheat to win. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen; these players are bringing in BILLIONS and not being paid a cent (let's be honest, most of them don't give a shite about academics). Such a business model can't last.

At this point this type of statement is beating a dead horse. Not saying I disagree at all, I'm just sick of talking about paying versus not paying NCAA athletes.

But Person DIDN'T do that.
Person didn't pay kids to come to play at auburn. He didn't cheat to win.
He cheated and lied for money in his own back pocket.
The money paid was to get people to a certain agency.

So he could be the only one going down for this...

If you read the whole document it's absolutelt ridiculous how greedy he was. Asking for more money, trying to bring in another advisor so he could double dip, straight up lying to the parents.
It's one of those things where you almost just have to laugh at how ridiculous it is. I mean. Person, Michael, and CW1 had lunch at a restaurant in Auburn and were under FBI surveillance during it. How nuts is that?

Auburn Basketball didn’t benefit at all by what Person did. He was actually working against it.

Honestly, it seems like we just fell into the investigators laps. To me, the big fish in this look like Addidas, Nike, and possibly UA. All we've seen so far is the stuff they have hard, wire tapped evidence of. Once the Adidas execs and agents start talking, we're going to see a lot more names coming out. We're talking multiple sports apparel brands being involved in paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to high schoolers to go to specific schools.

Could be.
And what a greedy rascal CP is! All about him and nothing/nobody else.

Chuck was encouraging folks to leave Auburn early and go pro. The NCAA did not find any recruiting violations which is the silver lining.
