I was at that game. Worst game I've ever been to and one of the few times a win felt like a loss

Auburn/LSU in 2012 was a pretty dreadful game as well.

I went to that game while visiting a good friend from high school who was in school at MSU that year.

Yes, this held the title for worst D1 game for several years until the VaTech/Wake Forest 0-0 at the end of regulation game.

Was also at this game. Paid $15 for seats on the 50 yardline at JHS. If I recall, the game ended up being a bit closer than expected, and I think Auburn even had a lead at halftime. Auburn's defense played a decent game in a year they were largely non-existent.

Some low scoring games are great football and very fun to watch because the teams play tough, physical defense with NFL level talent.

A score like that is fricking arbitrary. Why should a FG be worth more than a safety anyway?
