Former Bama player back in the Shula days, star at Hoover High. Just got word he has passed away.

I haven't heard that name in some time. Was dismissed by Shula in 2005. Sorry to hear this.

Damn, Curtis was a good dude and a friend in college.

yeah always heard he was just a good ole boy at heart who loved to hunt and fish. as a high school product he was one of the best to ever come out of hoover imo.

I got to know Curtis when my son played football with him at Hoover. He was certainly one the best players to come out of Hoover during the Rush Probst tenure. More importantly he was a fun loving guy that everyone enjoyed being around. Very sad to hear of his passing. RIP Curtis - you will be missed.
