So with Clarkson leaving do you want Brown to stay?

I say yes.

I never liked Clarkson running the point. I am not sure that it was completely his fault that he wasn't good at it, but it was painful to watch. Good luck to him in the NBA.

Also, if Brown goes where will we get our scoring next year?

I'm still flummoxed that people think Clarkson can play in the NBA.

I'd welcome Brown back any day.

Yes, I'd love to see Brown come back. Not only did he score at a high rate, he did so about as efficiently as possible.

808, I don't know what they see. He can't shoot. He's really not a ball handler. He can get by, but he's not a true PG in terms of ball handling. He has next to no left hand. Something tells me NBA players are going to be able to shut down a player who can only drive to the rim with his right hand.

I hope Brown stays.

I can't stand anything about Clarkson, I can't even take looking at his face during interviews.

I'm sure Haith has a plan.

I think the question is probably moot. Really really don't envision Brown coming back solo. We'll see but I doubt it.

I want Dequon Miller ( video) and Ahmed Hill ( video) with those scholarships personally, both of whom are on the list of guys we are actively recruiting right now for next year. Hill will need to decommit from Marquette first but with Buzz Williams leaving that's possible and Jakeenan Gant his real good buddy is in his ear to come ti Mizzou. Hill would be a freshman so another four year player to develop. Miller is only a freshman in juco so we could have him for 3 years and he seems like a real nice Mike Dixon/Phil Pressey kinda hybrid to me. Miller's juco coach says the reason he shoots a real high percentage is that he takes good shots and studies film and that you don't have to run complicated plays with him at point cuz he'll just create stuff automatically with his smart passing and scoring...which, given the lack of faith on this board about the X's and O's that will occur under Haith, should be music to a lot of people's ears.

Next year will probably be a rough transition year and would be regardless of who was coaching the team. But in the long term, having 3 years together of JW3/Biedschid/Gant/Torren Jones/Namon Wright/Wes Clark/Shane Rector/Miller/Hill might just develop into a cohesive unit and stable program that could do some damage in the long haul. Just maybe. Granted, that requires the fanbase to have the patience to wait around for it, which, well...

Actually he does in the sense that we have been recruiting multiple scoring guards for the past several weeks now, including the options I mention above. How those recruits will pan out is another matter, but the question of whether or not Haith has some contigency plans in place or not is not exactly LOL-worthy.
