Who do you think will be our starting QB in 2014: Murphy, Driskel, or Grier?

It'll almost definitely be a battle between the seniors, but you never know.

If Muschamp is still here..who cares, we will suck.

If he is gone

Driskel. Murphy looks no better and he does better in practice.

Only way WM is gone is if we only win 1 more.

You think he'll start right away as a true freshman?

I mean, I wouldn't be opposed to it. I'd just be pretty surprised if it actually happened.

Lane and Cook are both expressing disinterest..and serious talk of Lane flipping.

Why suspect Grier stays. I'd almost think he was an idiot if he wanted to play for this freaking team. If Muschamp is here, no high school recruit should want to come. We haven't developed a great offensive player since he has been here.

Boom should stay...its his defense that is lights out...today notwithstanding.

The one thing that would piss him off more than anything is to see his defense ransacked by another team....well...it happened today in large part because of the total ineptness of our offense.

Grier has been quoted as saying he wants to redshirt and that is the smartest thing possible. We have Driskel as a r/s jr next year and folks don't understand how much pain he played in before the season ending injury...he has a great set of wheels and since midseason last year you can see him get slower. Our coaches wont come out and tell you Driskel is banged up...so please stop the bashing of him.

As for recruitment of Grier...it would be nerve numbing for any high school qb to watch our dismal offense...but with Peasae gone we open the door for a brighter future to show recruits.

RB isn't a concern for us. We're set for at least another year or 2 at RB.

Need to worry about TE and OLine, and hope Grier isn't a complete bust.

I agree. Main focus needs to be on OL/DL.

If Driskel performed the way Murphy did yesterday, the majority of the fanbase would be calling for his head.

Murphy has better pocket presence than Driskel and is better at reading defenses, but if Murphy can't deliver the ball accurately into tight windows, it doesn't matter.

There are a lot of passes that Driskel can make that Murphy simply can't. He doesn't have a strong arm. He's not accurate.

Murphy is a better fit for the ball control offense, but I'm really beyond caring who fits into our shite-stain of an offense. If Driskel is healthy, he should be starting over Murphy.

If Grier can come in and start right away, this whole argument is moot. But I'm skeptical that's realistic.

Driskel would have had 3-4 strip sacks yesterday with how those DE's were. It was a miracle that Murphy didn't turn it over more than he did.

He is an EE, so he should have plenty of time to learn the system. He will need to adjust to the speed of the game in the Spring though.

I will seriously be pissed if Pease is still the OC, and Driskel comes back, gets his job back, and still can't read coverages worth a shite.

If this is the offense we're gonna run, Murphy or Grier (depending on how he looks) should be given the opportunity to start over Driskel.

If it's Pease', he will know it by the time classes start a few days after he enrolls.
