Just a different era these days. Just not sure how I feel about all these transfers. After this last season, I just don't know. Regardless, welcome to the ZOU.

Some more tidbits

Terez A. Paylor ?@TerezPaylor 1m
Bello averaged 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game last season for Baylor. Decided to transfer so he would get more PT.

I've seen people say he is a solid defender. Apparently what he does best is dunk.

With a year in the system (sitting out) hopefully he can take the time to improve his shooting ability.

Also, Scott Drew was his coach. I have always thought Drew is a bad coach. He gets paid for his recruiting ability.

Some kids still need to be coached even if they are highly recruited 4 and 5 star kids.

There is a reason we always beat baylor the last few years. He relies on talent to win him games and not his ability to coach.

Couldn't agree more. On paper, his teams should have beaten us. They had better overall talent, but they didn't live up to it. Lets see what the deuce can do at the zou!!

Didn't see a MU basketball board so figured I'd post this here. It's an article on how SEC basketball needs to improve. The part that is interesting is showing the teams who have won at least 2/3 of their games in 3 or more of the last 5 years. Mizzou has done it 5 years running and is one of just 12 schools that have done it in at least 3 of the last 5. Impressive stat showing some consistency.

And while we have our fair share of cupcakes, we also have our fair share of legitimate OOC games as well. If we can just figure out how to carry that over to the tourney now, we'd be in good shape.

Every time I see this thread title I do a double take, because I think it's says Deuce Bigelow transferring to Mizzou.

Then I realize it's Deuce Bello, and I sigh and think to myself, "Someday, Deuce Bigelow, someday..."
