TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Season tickets are still available to watch the defending national champion Alabama softball team in 2013. Brickyard season tickets are available, located in the tiered seating behind the right and center field fence.

Brickyard general admission season tickets cost $40. The ticket office has sold 466 season tickets in the Brickyard and is looking to move that total to 500.

The Crimson Tide continues to break NCAA records in attendance and is looking to become the first softball team in the country to reach 100,000 fans in a season. En route to winning its first national championship, 91,541 went through the gates at Rhoads Stadium in 2012.

Alabama has welcomed more than 60,000 fans each season since 2008. Rhoads Stadium, with the addition to the Brickyard in 2012, now seats nearly 4,000 – one of the largest softball venues in the country.

The Tide will open its home portion of the 2013 schedule against South Alabama on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Alabama will then host the Easton Bama Bash presented by Drash and the Easton Classic. Southeastern Conference play starts in Tuscaloosa against rival Auburn on March 22.

Softball tickets can be purchased online or by calling 205-348-BAMA.
