Our secondary is not elite, we don't have a consistent pass rush, AJ is not the player was after MSU.

On the upside, the pressure may be off of them, and the team will have a while to prepare.

Saban has time to prepare, and Murray is not a true dual-threat like Manziel is. Given these two facts and Richt's record in big games, I'm not sure this game is close. It would take Bama's absolute worst game and Georgia's best IMO. If we somehow lose though, I'll be on suicide watch because I'll NEVER hear the end of it. Most of us here in Georgia still keep hearing about Herschel Walker and 1980 from kids who weren't alive back then....

Yes, we don't have to worry containing Murray

We don't have to contain him if he can throw all over the secondary and stay on the field after third down. Stats have been masking the secondary all year, and they've look terrible against the best teams we've played and Murray is a better QB right now than Mett.

I'm not trying to be a downer, but it's startling to see them play this badly. They need to fix the CB depth and get a pass rusher.

Aggies have better receivers than Georgia, imo.

Heres my view:
1. Mettenberger had an amazing game throwing perfect passes on a lot of perfect coverages. He played better that game than I've ever seen Murray play(And I get to see him a lot living in GA). And we still won that game.

2. UGA's defense isn't even close to LSU's.

3. We just had a three game stretch with no byes against top level SEC competition and we got worse as we went along. Saban now has time to prepare for the SEC championship game with games against Western Carolina and Auburn remaining. Plus, Saban's preparation coaching > Richt's preparation coaching = FACT

Yes.

Im more concerned about the UGA pass rush than their offense to be honest. Jarvis Jones is a different animal. Guy just takes over games.

Defense has to start getting off the field on 3rd down.

If it were so easy I know they'd do it all the time, but that's the primary issue right now.

We won't have to contain Murray like Manziel, but Mett did pretty well converting 3rd downs through the air, and he's the poor mans Murray.

Defense will have to stiffen up pretty quick. Also, Auburn will give us their best effort, so if the team comes out flat they'll be in for a 4 quarter game against AU.

Let's just make it to the SECC first.

Sadly

not if we play like we did vs the collies......
Nick needs to have more control of the play calling on offense.

Murray is easier to plan for and UGa has weak defense.

This x10000. I think my head might explode if I see anymore pass plays on 1st and Goal.

Our secondary isn't going to exponentially improve in there weeks and Murray will be the best pocket passer that we've faced all year. It's a legit concern.

And I think everyone agrees that there is something going on with AJ besides the inept play calling.

Take off the glasses for a minute, bruh.

Most definitely. Murray is a ZERO threat to run compared to Manziel. I think we can still get after him enough to where he'll throw a couple at to us.

I would say yes because Bama has not played to it's potential since the Michigan game.We can also make mistakes and get beat.I think it's an entertaining match-up.

Need to turn in your fan card asking questions like that. We lost ONE game. Come back off the ledge. UGA is a good team, but there isn't a team in the country that we need to ask "can" we beat them. We "can" beat any team. Not saying we will (see A&M), but we certainly "can" beat any team in America...and probably "should" beat almost any team in America based on talent, coaching, etc.
