Who is Saban going to hire now that Todd Grantham is going to the saints?

Grantham was never a candidate no matter what these fools on here say.

Pruitt since giving bags of McDonald’s food and cash is now apparently legal

Don’t think you are getting Schumann. Pretty sure Kirby has probably already locked him down by now.

No way was Schumann a backup to Todd “3rd & Grantham”.

I doubt Grantham was never a viable option. If he was he would never have left for the NFL

Maybe Muschamp if he wants to get back onto the reaching Head Coaching ladder again

Probably right. Even so, don’t think Bama is prying Schumann from Kirby/UGA.

Kirby will just give Schu the same speech that Saban gave him when Richt was trying to steal Kirby away to be DC - don’t make a lateral move.

And Saban was right! Thank God Kirby didn’t do that - or he may have ended up at another SEC as HC.

And FYI - don’t buy the “Co-DC” to “sole DC” being an upgraded job.

Schumann more likely to do what Kirby did and wait for Saban to retire before making a run at the Bama HC spot. No point making a lateral-at-best move (especially when he’s going to be receiving HC offers from smaller programs along the way

Yeah, here's how it all broke down:

Coach Saban, OK Todd, we really want you to be our next DC at BAMA.

Todd Grantham, "Sorry coach, but I'm off to New Orleans as an 'assistant.' Not sure what that means coach, but it just sounds so cool, especially at my age and experience."

I thought it was Chik-Fil-A? If it was McDonald's, I don't want him.

Charlie Strong. Maybe Manny Diaz. That’s if he can’t hire Pruitt.

I prayed that Grantham would get the job. I'm very disappointed.

Pruitt wasn’t a viable option. The show cause stuff still matters.

Derek Mason would make the most sense.
