When Ole Miss plays Auburn this fall, it will mark the 5th different head coach in the last 30 years that Ole Miss will have played an SEC contest against a head coach who also either went on to be or had been a Rebel head coach in the past.
1999- Tommy Tubberville at Auburn
1998-2007 - Houston Nutt at Arkansas
2009 - Lane Kiffin at Tennessee
2016-2021 - Ed Orgeron at LSU.
2023 - Hugh Freeze at Auburn.
Does any other SEC team come close?
