That’s not what happened. They heard strange noises coming from the room next door and called the front desk to change rooms. Turns out it was a group of your Aggy yell leaders having an orgy. They stepped outside for some fresh air, got laid by the only 2 aTm groupies hanging out by the pool, then hit the rack in their new room. No big deal…

You're right, you know more about the program than we do.
It's amazing how much random internet board posters around the country "know" about the inner workings of A&M's football program.

Been saying that awhile myself. Never ceases to amaze me how much the various fans on the rant all seem to know more about our program than we fans of the team do and know exactly what’s going through Jimbo’s mind at any given moment. It really is amazing when you think about it.

Hell, not even that. They know the details of all our players finances, the terms of all their NIL deals, the details of any promises made by all of our coaches and boosters, and their relationships with each other and our coaching staff. Truly astonishing stuff.

(I used the 247 class calculator. Without those 4 guys the class goes from 333 to 326. Unreal how loaded that freshman class is, and unreal what a great job Jimbo has done keeping them together.)
Just wait until they head home and everyone is asking why they’re home and not getting bowl swag. Asking why they aren’t at bowl practice or when they are playing.

I hear he nearly bought Perkins, but then Perkins decided to go to LSU without being bought. That's what I heard.

Yes, we should do everything in our power to make sure our players don't realize they aren't playing in a bowl game. They'll be devastated if they figure it out.
Nothing gets past y'all. Too smart.

Solid summary there friend. This also goes back on Jimbo though, his lack of leadership, discipline, and the losing might’ve contributed a good deal to losing these kids mentally. A&M has immense potential in all seriousness but under Jimbo? It will continue to be a clusterfck. Problem is kids are being bought but aren’t buying into his program and that’ll have a chain reaction.
Jimbo has always been a “players coach”. He generally lets them run wild until it gets way out of hand. Some players will take shite way too far. Things can either work out well for Jimbo or go off the rails year to year. It is wildly inconsistent.
I will say, there aren’t many in the industry that can recruit like him. He can still walk into a living room and flip a 5 star running back after a 5-7 season. The guy can polish a turd and sell it to the queen of England as earrings. I feel like unless you have a coach that can recruit elite talent, you’ll never get to the championship level. However, even though it’s an essential piece, that’s just one piece of the puzzle. You still need create and maintain a culture and develop players. I don’t think culture is a problem, I’ve never really seen his players quit, even when they were 4-7. Development has been good at some positions (DL/RB), and well below average at others (QB/WR). I also attribute that to him being loyal to certain assistants whether they are good or if they suck.
His main problem at Texas A&M has been his outdated offense holding the team back. Whether a new OC fixes that or not, is still up in the air. Odds are stacked against him coming back from a 5-7 season, but both Kelly and Harbaugh have done it. I think him stepping away from being totally consumed with fixing his shitty offense will fix a lot of the behavioral issues that were allowed to run wild while he was too busy buried in his 6” thick playbook.
I’m definitely in “believe it when I see it” mode.

It's the texag fans that put the original info about NIL deals on here. Players had to STAY in aggie land to collect the full amount on NIL.

Money talks. Pathetic coaching gets you 5-7.

Or they're just immature shitheads. If I were them, even if I hated Jimbo with a raging passion and planned to GTFO ASAP, I'd at least stay out of jail and keep my grades up so that transferring would be a possibility. Harris will probably end up at one of the JuCos for barely literate criminals who happen to be fast.
