Or are the long knives still out?

I bet Jimmy Sexton is promoting a contract extension for Jimbo today.

Merlins is expected to be in play for their OC position, Jimbo was always going to survive this season.

He'll have them at 8-4 or 9-3 next season.

I love how they love the QB now when for two weeks they were eating him alive

I think they’ve been pretty high on Weigman, I didn’t see the hate directed towards him. Not saying you didn’t see it, just never saw it myself.

Honestly, I can’t say that I’ve seen this. Weigman has 8 TDs and 0 INTs in his action. I will take that from a true freshman every time.

There has been plenty of criticism for Jimbo and other coaching positions but I can’t recall hate on Connor.

If I'm an Aggie, I'm wondering who was running the offense last night and where they've been all year.

I get that everyone wants to talk about youth and injuries but all of that has been overblown a bit, you should still handle teams like Appalachian State and UMass regardless.

There have been major coaching issues all year that weren't displayed last night, is that a one off or did someone else take over?

What I don't understand is he had the entire team with 1 focus. To pee pee in somebody else's cereal. Why could he not have done this the entire season?

No.

He’s very unhappy, too. He knows he has to make changes. He’s going to hire a real OC this off-season, and he’ll be given whatever money he needs to do it.

The expectation is that he's going to hire an OC and let him call plays but that it will still be a collaboration.

Jimbo is not giving an OC 100% control.

I don’t mean to carry the water for Jimbo, and I’m not saying all out ineptitude was about youth and injuries. But my God I’ve never seen a season like this one. We could never get in a grove because we had a revolving door at OL and WR and QB. Our two best (non-Freshmen) players were out for huge chunks of the year. It was like we started over a half dozen times.

It’s Jimbo fisher. He will have 1-2 games per year where he looks like an offensive genius. 10 years ago, he had about 8-9 games a year where this occurred.

The game is changing off the field and on it. It is seriously throwing a wrench in his ability to do his job the way he has done it since 2010 at Florida state.

2021 showed this, but he had an experienced defense with some studs on it and the best DC in football IMO who held the shite show together to go 8-4. He had his one stellar offensive game plan against Bama. All others were shite.

2022 has been rock bottom for him. Injuries forced his hand to play a lot of freshmen on both sides of the ball. The defense is average, but Durkin is NOT Elko. His offense has finally decayed to the point where he can no longer justify running it.

2022 LSU was his 2021 Bama. It’s his yearly one hit wonder. It won’t cut it and nobody associated with A&M has forgotten how shitty the this season was due to a good game vs LSU. It was a great ending to a really hyped up but ultimately shitty movie.

It was very good run blocking and Achane going off. LSU could not set the edge.

That was the first time all year where the offensive line didn't look like a confused mess.

That was certainly a part of it but there was a lot more to what the offense was doing differently than just that.

Pretty much this. Most Aggies have been begging for Weigman to get more playing time earlier. King was a turnover machine in his time. Max was fine but got hurt due to zero good OL play.

After last night, this is Weigman's team.

As far as Jimbo. He doesn't get out of the doghouse until he is beating the Mississippi schools regularly.

I think the best thing that could have happened if we were going to lose that game is A&M not trying to fire Jimbo.
