I figured out a way around it; unless it's way too large, put it in your wallet

Not a youngin, but still do.
Used to carry a multitool, but I've found that one good/small locking knife does nearly everything I need, without the extra size or weight (especially with shorts).
Still keep the others around for various uses, but not for everyday carry.

When In was a kid you had 3 to 6 in your pontes to play mumblypeg or swap. homeland Security seems to have f*ck*ed this all up for kids today.
They confiscated a pair of knitting scissors (sorta like the Rock Hammer in "Shawshank Redemption") from a sibling and it was then that I knew common sense had been thrown out for "sheep people" security.
Probably have to be an aging Australian to have a knife these days

That is what we played at recess. I had a Boy Scout pocket knife. Would probably be arrested at school today.

Which version did you play?
Hand on a table or the "lawn darts meets chicken" version?

All the men in my family have always carried them. I have tried to and spent good money on a few. I eventually gave up because I am too scatter brained to keep up with them.
I can keep up with my wallet, my dip (trashy, I know)
That is about it.

My 16 year old has one whenever he isn't at school (keeps in in the car there). He actually had one confiscated when we were entering the Smithsonian a couple of years back.

What pocket knives you baws be carrying?
I got Spyderco's, Kizer's, Case, Great Eastern Cutlery, Shatt and Morgan's. Looking to get a new pocket knife in the $50-100 range. Not sure on what to get just yet.
Been eyeing this one, but wish it had the button lock instead of the liner lock.

I imagine nowadays schools don't allow it. And they'd get probably expelled.

Not sure if you'd consider me a "youngin'" anymore, but I'm 25 and don't leave the house without my knife and 9mm

Nope, you old farts carry lighters? I don’t even smoke cigarettes anymore. But always have a lighter for some odd reason.

I have collected Emerson Customs since the 90's and have over 100 of them. I carry 1 every day.

I’ve got an old Schrade that was my Grandad’s. He used the hell outta that thing. Three blade, one broke off about halfway and makes a handy flathead screwdriver.
