The pitcher and batter have to do their same routine every freaking pitch. Let's get the game moving and more fluid.

It could be worse. Could you imagine if Sergio Garcia played baseball?

Limit pick off attempts

don’t let batters take time to adjust their shite after every other pitch

allow only 3 pitching changes unless an injury happens

shorten the pitch count to 20 seconds

have robo umps and that will cut down on challenges.

But the dumbass baseball purists somehow think having 3.5-4 hour games is a good thing

It’s okay if games are long. The pace needs to move though.

I could care less that the games are long, that is why I go. If I want a 90 min game I go watch basketball.

I’ll agree with that. The waiting around for 30+ seconds between every pitch or pickoff attempt is beyond stupid. And allowing unlimited pitching changes. As long as the game is moving at a good pace, everyone is happy

And that’s why baseball doesn’t appeal to the younger generation and is losing viewership. If baseball wants to survive it is going to have to adjust

I know I'm in the minority but I really wouldn't be against "change the pitcher as often as you want. But change them during an inning and they come in from the bullpen ready to pitch"

Know what would really speed the game up? Expanding the strike zone. They keep getting tighter and tighter every year. Strike zone is based off the MLB strike zone, and that zone is too tight for college baseball. Expand the zone by half a ball or an entire ball. Will speed the game up. This game was a prime example of why the zone needs to be expanded.

If you enjoy watching baseball, then maybe you should enjoy, you know, watching baseball.

(1) three warm up pitches on mound…period. No exceptions… start of game, innings changes, pitching change. Do your warm up in the pen, then toe the damn rubber.

(2) batter not allowed to step out of box, screw with his grip, look for sign, rub dirt in hands, kick dirt in box, dig one foot in before stepping back in…again and again and again. Step up to plate and be ready for the whole series of pitches… if batter and runners need play signs, better do’um quick… this introduces “hurry-up” strategy to baseball.

(3) manger makes pitching changes from dugout. Not allowed on field except for injury.
