Atlanta will get another franchise

I'm not so sure. No city has ever been given a 3rd try. In fact, I believe only Atlanta has lost a pro team twice. Messing up thec2nd chance was a colossal frick up.

I've said before, and will continue to say, that as bad as ASG was (and they were horrible) the fact that Atlanta is now a city full of Yankee transplants didn't help either, especially the first few years.

I remember going to games against the Rangers, the Redwings, the Flyers, and you'd have a shitton of folks heir cheering for the visiting team because they were from NY, Philly, etc. and that was their team even after the moved down here.

I loved going, and when I lived in Candler Park it was easy to jump on MARTA and be there in such a short time.

I wish there was a spot out in Gwinnett that could hold an NHL size arena and see if getting a team there would work. The Gladiators seem to draw pretty well but that arena is just so small.

I think Buffalo had the best fans. They were assholes during the game (and in large numbers) but fun as shite afterward. Lots of them would fly down (easier to delta and tickets in ATL than to get tickets for their home games).

I would agree with this, and I was friends with one.
