I have to apologize to Rick Barnes.
I erroneously cited him as having lost 5 games to double digit seeds. Unfortunately, I overlooked his career at Clemson, where he managed to also lose a game to an 11th seeded Western Michigan.
He has earned *6* double digit seed losses, not 5. My apologies for the error.

Because he's won fewer NCAA tourney games with the Vols than even Mike White won at UF.

Half of volnation.com at any given time is for firing Barnes because of his teams' ineptitude in the Tourney.
Now it will be more like two-thirds after this debacle. No excuse for losing to the 11 seed with the kind of talent and depth he has this year.

Barnes has been to the Sweet 16 exactly once since 2008 between Texas and Tennessee. That's why they call him Regular Season Rick.
