For all of the playoff making the championship games not matter...feel like conference

expansion has much more to do with it.
Feels like I'm watching a MAC championship game.
Only two games that really worth watching today. Sad.

I think it's just because for the most part this game is just about playoff seeding and both teams are banged the frick up and fans don't have any confidence.
Everyone says Alabama offense is down, and maybe it is. I don't know. I do know 3 of our last 4 games were against 3 of the 4 best defenses in the conference, and Alabama has the other top4 defense according to FEI.
Georgia has the 9th best SEC defense by the same metric. I also read that Georgia pass rush isn't that great, so I think that's going to get Ryan Williams in the mix, and hopefully he doesn't have drops.
So I'll say Alabama wins another close one, 28-24.

Huh? Weird response. My post had nothing to do with the SECCG. Complaining about the matchups in the other two games and specifically the one going on right now.

Texas Tech is really good some of y'all need to stop being SEC homers and realize that the conference isn't as elite as it used to be. Hell an SEC team hasn't won the natty since 2022

Tech is good but I’d take all sec upper crust teams over them. We will see in playoff

I thought you were talking about the lack of smack talk and shite between Alabama and Georgia fans.

Where's the lie? Out of conference the SEC hasn't exactly dominated. Texas lost to Ohio State, Georgia struggled against Tech, Bama lost to a bad FSU team. This isn't the college football of old anymore

Tech looks good enough to top any of the SEC teams, that defense is nasty. This whole year has been weird as hell no team looks a cut above the rest.

I’d argue it’s more elite. Just because Alabama and Georgia can’t run away with conference any more does not make it more elite. The fact there are literally 4 teams that could have played for sec cg tells me the conference is stronger than it ever has been.
