Alabama certainly should move over notre dame.
But the conversations that have any kind of polls that include, Notre Dame will continue in perpetuity. There is no year, or subset of years that will deny Notre Dame and their national fan base.

The sooner we all start looking at the Top 11 teams plus Notre Dame will make the CFP, the better off we will be on the subject of who makes the College Football Playoffs.

They aren’t a guarantee. And if somehow BYU beats Tech, they will be sweating for sure.
