Is this year's Heisman winner going to go down as one of the weakest ever?

I hadn't been paying much attention but I went and looked at some betting odds and saw the following names:
1 - Fernando Mendoza
2 - Julian Sayin
3 - Jeremiyah Love
4 - Diego Pavia
5 - Marcel Reed.
Pavia is the only one who feels like a player who's had some elite plays/moments. The rest just seem like the best player on teams ranked highly as opposed to having incredible seasons.
That goes for #6 too (my team's QB, Gunner Stockton). Unless Pavia wins it, this feels like a year that when people are asked to name the last 10 heisman winners 6-7 years from now, everyone will forget this one.

Insane how bad it is this year

I am a State alum and fan but honestly Chambliss should be the Heisman winner. The kid has been fantastic this year. Period.
Don’t penalize him for not getting to play the first couple of games of the season.

Heisman has been meaningless since they put a DB over Peyton Manning.
Haven't watched or cared since.

The stats of whoever wins it will look like they played in the 90s

Yeah the same Peyton who shite his pants against UF (again) and then got benched in their bowl game down 42-10.

A db bruh.
He was the 4th Big ten player they pushed that year.
It was.....find any b10 player...not another sec guy. .....definitely not a Manning.
It was gross to witness.

Eh... both Hunter and Jeanty put up impressive stats and had many "wow" moments on the field. Wasn't deep though.
As of right now, the highest in total passing yards of those guys is Reed at 17th. The guys at the top are not prolific statistically... they're just very efficient.
Love is only 4th in rushing yards
Usually we look for a guy from a top team who also has great stats or a guy from a lesser team who's just too impressive to ignore.
This year it's going to be a guy from a top team who's very efficient. It's a "Gino Toretta" type year I think.

You don't have to be dramatic.

Just an absolute garbage field. Cancel the fricking thing.

Honestly, it should be the MLB from Texas Tech. He is the only dominant player in the country at what he does.

Pavia and Mendoza are the only two that should be considered.
They numbers, combined with some of the crazy plays Pavia makes, is what surprises me that he's barely on the list.

It’s been meaningless since the Reggie bush fiasco

Love splits carries or he would lead the nation. I hate ND but he has had a whole lot of long highlight runs.

Sayin or Mendoza will win it. It will depend on who wins the B1G CG.

Not at all.
Tim, Tebow, Joe Burrow, Cam Newton and Derrick Henry (just to name a few) were hardly meaningless Heisman winners.

This right here. The kid has been amazing this year. If Simmons didn't get hurt, Ole Miss would have had more than just one loss.
