That might change the Kiffin equation. Would Bama make him an offer?

Are bama fans so entitled that they will run off a coach in his second year who’s 9-2 and win the iron bowl they’re playing for yet another SEC championship?

I genuinely do not understand why yall would run him out.

Does his wife hate living in Tuscaloosa or something? That’s the only reason I could imagine someone would leave Alabama for Penn State.

I’m a huge Kalen DeBoer supporter.

I think he’s a good guy and a great schematic coach.

He’s not getting run off after this year no matter what.

But it’s 2025 and nothing is impossible.

With a win and a CFP slot he gets an extension as I’m sure his agent is trying to leverage.

Hes also not getting an extension at Alabama if we go 9-3 with a second late season collapse.

But it would be hilarious for him to go to Penn State after they ran off a guy who was in the CFP semis last year seeking a “long term contract” when he would be two years without a CFP berth after inheriting the Saban dynasty.

Bottom line it’s 2025 and nothing is impossible so today is a huge game for Bama.

I kind of doubt Saban would be supportive of a Kiffin hire at Alabama.

If Deboer goes to PSU and Bama snatched Kiffin from LSU, this place would melt down.

I dont know, Kiffin said he had to talk to Saban before he accepts/rejects a job.

Deboer would be stupid to leave and I think there is 0% chance of that happening this year.

…..want Kiffin, but this timeline would be hilarious. Bama runs off DeBeor just to secure Kiffin so LSU can’t have him? And then Ole Miss becomes collateral damage and have to fight yet another school for the best coach available?

This is what makes college football great.

What would the point of college football if multiple coaches in position to compete for the NC this season bolt for other schools?

Oh right. To make obscene amounts of money.

Do you honestly think Bama can not compete with Penn State financially?
