The bad guy in all of this is Ole Miss

Refusing to allow Lane to coach his team through the playoffs. The man built the team, coached them to 11-1 and put the program back on the map. Acting like a jilted lover and not letting him finish the season with his players is some cold hearted shite.

Would LSU even allow that? Signing day, portal window, putting staff together would all be affected by having a coach working another job.

Nope. Ole Miss should lock him out of the facility like yall did Kelly.

Kelly was fired for poor performance. Lane led Ole Miss to their best season in over half a century. And you see the thanks he gets for it.

He hasn’t coached in over a month. Thank God for our coordinators for keeping it together and these kids staying focused amidst the circus Lane has allowed to fester

The bad guy is the one abandoning the team that created his opportunity.

If your girlfriend admitted to going on dates with another dude would you keep taking her out?

Crimson K last time that happened at LSU Carr killed the Michigan deal, so we got to keep Les.

It’s even worse for Ole Miss to allow it. He will be actively recruiting the portal for his team at LSU next year as well as having a couple weeks to recruit current Ole Miss players to join him in Baton Rouge. I don’t see how Ole Miss could possibly allow this.

So it sounds like Ole Miss is making a “business decision” and not really concerned about the players this year. Interesting

bad guy is LK for talking with them during the season. Had he not talked to them and sent his family to their towns...he could have maintained a more professional way of handing this shitshow and kept coaching. Had it went down this way I'd be ok letting him coach thru the playoffs and then figure it out.
But he didn't...he made himself and OM a public shitshow spectacle for all the world to see.
Because of the way he handled this....he cant be allowed to coach unless he chooses to stay.

Quit being a fricking moron. They have no choice in the matter due to the coach choosing to leave (if he in fact chooses to leave). Blame the college football calendar, not Ole Miss.

It would be something to watch LSU's coach leading OM in the playoffs. Free portalling aside, could you even cheer for your team in that situation? Is it still OM's team, or is it Kiffin's team?
