He’s the most wanted coach because no one believes Ole Miss is a destination job. Not saying he won’t stay, just the truth.

I think he's overrated and don't understand what all of the fuss is about. He bombed out in one season at Tenny, then flopped at USC. Now he's turned Ole Miss into a moderately successful program, but they haven't won a single championship to show for it. So, as far as I'm concerned I hope he ends up at UF...so our dominance of them will continue.

He is a very good coach. A championship coach? i don't think he is there yet. He still seems to try to outsmart himself in pressure situations.

Is it nice to have others care about Ole Miss? First time in your lifetime...and it has nothing to do with Ole Miss..just your coach. Why? Because he is wanted by schools that are very clearly much better LSU and UF.

I seriously doubt that. I feel like when the pressure is on, Lane tries to get cute by going for it in dumb spots or bringing in the backup to try a trick play in a high leverage situation. He does this kind of stuff over and over, year after year. Is he a good coach? Absolutely. He might even win a playoff game. But, as each game brings more pressure, does that mean he makes more dumb calls? I iust don't think that he's a championship coach.
