This tells me someone is wanting to hire him. Someone said Lane was wanting to hire him at Florida as his DC. Seems to add up.

While you are correct and I want that too, Deboer doesn't seem to want him, strangely enough.

I think Pruitt is too much of an alpha personality for DeBoer

Don't take Deboer's kindness for weakness. The man is not weak at all.

Bama's current defense is working. Why change that?

Also, I'm betting it would be odd to have a Saban assistant as DC.

Why? DeBoer has former Saban players on staff.

I believe Pruitt to be the best DC Saban ever had. You don't turn down that level of brain trust and SEC experience. He has coached in 5× National Champion (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017)...You find a place for someone like this. Plus he is a Bama man with the tattoo to prove it.
